I purchased my VP1 in July after doing hours of research. XTAR is highly regarded in the battery industry and is rated one of the best chargers by us vaper’s. Easy to use, nice OLED display is easy to read and has an accurate user’s manual. Zero problems and will charge a drained 3400 mah battery in about 2.5 hours. Well first thing first, it looks amazing! Love the blue LED! Really adds a nice look for a charger. I love being able to toss a battery in to the charger and to read where the battery is at, sure helps when charging them to estimate how much time is left rather than just looking to see if a green light is on. Overall

This is obviously more expensive than most other things out there but well worth it.

I am not an expert when it comes to li-ion batteries and chargers but this seems to be well regarded in the flashlight community. They say it uses the correct charging algorithm and it doesn't charge past 4.2 volts which I think will be better in the long run for safety and battery health.

Charges fast! Ability to set charging rate is great. No longer am I waiting all day for batteries to charge, look at the screen and know exactly where you are without dragging out the multimeter. Also includes a 12v car adapter which is pretty useful if you travel alot. I recommend. (Posted on 7/25/2013)
