Silver Bullet M (Mechanical)
Over the years the Silver Bullet has become a staple in most Mod Collections. Since the rise of Rebuildable Atomizers we have been working on a Mechanical version of the Silver Bullet. We've reviewed some of the complaints over the years and made some adjustments to the major ones. The Silver Bullet itself has been known as simply as a 'Work Horse' and tied with great craftsmanship and a warranty that rivals any Mod that is out there. When purchasing a Silver Bullet you know that the manufacturer stands behind their product.
-Fully Mechanical Silver Bullet (Silver Bullet M)
-Silver Plated Tellurium Copper Contacts
-Stainless Steel 510 Connector
-Adjustable Center Post up to 4.75mm
-Made in U.S.A.
Special Note: The Silver Bullet M can take up to a 4.75mm Center Post on an Atomizer/RBA. Atomizer posts that are longer than that will not work on the device and will need to be adjusted. Center post of this height are normally only found on rebuild able tanks/atomizers. The majority of normal cartomizer/atomizers will require no adjustments. The center post of the Silver Bullet M can be adjusted to accept atomizers with center posts shorter than 4.3mm. Use caution when adjusting the center post. If the center post is set too high, or an atomizer with a center post longer than 4.75mm is used, the switch actuator cap can jam on the Silver Bullet M housing. If this happens, the switch may stick in the on position. If it is allowed to fire continuously it will result in damage to the cartomizer, atomizer, clearomizer, tank and potentially the battery. This will cause the battery to discharge and potentially cause the battery to vent. The spring in the base of the Silver Bullet M may collapse when this happens to attempt to prevent the battery from damaging itself. If the spring has collapsed please dispose of the battery properly and replace the spring. We do recommend properly storing the batteries when the device is not in use.
Mechanical Mod Caution Notes:
- Never store a mechanical mod in your pocket, purse or anywhere else that may allow the Mod to activate.
- There is no protection built in to the unit and we recommend using a Rechargeable Protected Li-Ion 18650.
- Avoid over tightening on the device.
- Use caution when storing Mechanical Mods, we do recommend removing the battery and storing the battery in a Battery Case
Other Battery Caution Notes:
- Do not over-discharge/overcharge
- Recharge empty batteries (resting voltage ~3.6V) as soon as possible. Leaving batteries in discharged state will incur irreversible damage (capacity / cycle loss)
- Do not short circuit ( will release tremendous current )
- Do not dispose of in fire.
- Do not leave battery in Vehicles.
- Do not carry batteries loose in your pocket, purse or anywhere they can make contact with other metal objects..
- Never leave a battery charging unattended.
- Discontinue use of a battery if it looks worn, outter wrapping is torn, or it's acting unusual.
NOTE: Use special caution when working with Li-ion or Li-MN cells, they are very sensitive to charging characteristics and may explode or burn if mishandled. Make sure the user has enough knowledge of Li-Ion rechargeable batteries in charging, discharging and assembly before use. Always charge in/on a fire-proof surface. Never leave charging batteries unattended. We are not responsible for damage if there is any modification of the batteries/chargers in any form or shape (including pack making). We are not responsible for any damage caused by misuse or mishandling of batteries and chargers. We only recommend using Lithium Ion rechargeable batteries with a control circuit (protection PCB) to assure safe charge, discharge, etc, use of lithium ion batteries without a protection circuit is potentially hazardous
AltSmoke LLC. will not be held responsible or liable for any injury, damage, or defect, permanent or temporary that may be caused by the improper use of an Li-MN or LI-ION battery. Please have a basic understanding of the batteries you are using and how to care for them properly.
- Slick. Hits very well. Review by BK
The switch is simple to clean . The mechanism seems well thought out & implemented. 1 tool disassemble- y.
I checked the voltages on this mod with a lab grade digital voltmeter and it showed a less than .001 no load voltage drop through the switch as opposed to reading the uninstalled battery. That is pretty much unheard of . VERY little loss.
As mechanical mods go this has to be the best value for a made in USA . Hits very well. (Posted on 2/18/14)
- I love the Silver Bullet Review by kardinal
I have run into a couple of problems with it (which is why I only have a 4 star rating at this time). Sometimes it won't fire, and I think may be an issue with the button not making contact or something to do with the center pin, but I'm not sure as it's intermittent. I'm still waiting to hear back from altsmoke.
All that being said, this is a fantastic mod and would buy another in a heart beat. They've been making some of the best mods on the market for years now and the SB-Mech is no exception. (Posted on 1/30/14)

- Brilliant! Review by Ed
The Pictures do not do it justice, the stainless steel finish is gorgeous! Also on the picture it looked to me like the button stuck out farther than it actually does, it is recessed beyond the face of the tube so it isnt going to fire easily if you need to put it in your pocket, despite the fact you still shouldn't do so. Put on the Phoenix V10, dripped in some of my home made (Jamesons Melon Medley clone :) juice and started vaping away. Instantly put my Boge carto tank system to shame. I bought an extender and can not wait to try out a Kick with this beast as soon as Im able to get one. Great job guys, could not be more pleased. I doubt Ill need another mod, period.
Also heavy and built like a tank, of-course. The stainless steel is worth the extra investment alone over the regular Silver Bullet. If Your looking for a top quality Mod, look no further. I can not imagine anyone needing anything more than this, and can not imagine there being anything more/better. If you want variable voltage, add a kick and you have the best of all worlds. Wonderful, brilliant, all around great mod... (Posted on 12/29/13)
- Built like a tank!! Review by Sam
The M is shorter than the SB1 but weighs .25 oz more. As I said, this thing is a little tank! With a Kick sleeve it is just a bit taller than the SB1. Feels really solid in the hand. The chrome M slides around a bit more in your hand than my SB1 (Greeny) but according to Chad the M's can't be powder coated because of the new switch.
Now....is the M worth $45 more than the SB1, who cares it is a new and improved Silver Bullet designed by Chad so you HAVE to get one...you will NOT be disappointed!!! (Posted on 12/20/13)
